Children’s Dentistry

At Willowbrook we understand the importance of dental care for children from early on in life.  Installing good habits will help them throughout their lives so dental care should begin early. It is recommended to bring children for their first appointment around the age of 2 years old.

Getting your child gradually used to our environment will ensure they enjoy coming to visit us, so bring them along to your own appointments from around 12 months old, so they get used to seeing their parents relaxed whilst under treatment. We advise that children brush their teeth at least twice a day, under supervision.

We offer the full range of prevention for children, from teaching them how to brush their teeth, the importance of fluoride, good diet advice and high fluoride varnish application at every check up.
